Istanbul opens Iranian artists’ expo

Idil Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey, has kicked off an exhibition of works by 40 Iranian artists.

The exhibition, opened on Thursday, is titled ‘Mehr’.

It has been held by some Iranian artists in Turkey jointly with Tehran’s Yasamin Gallery and the Nidra Art Group.

Amir Shamsinia, Mostafa Alizadegan, Hadi Karimi, Mina Azarmand, Shahrzad Mehrabi, Zahra Vafaei and Mohammad Golrokh are among the poplar Iranian artists whose works are being showcased.

“The exhibition aimed at exchanging ideas on art and culture with Turkey which shows the great potential of Iranian artist in international arena,” Alizadegan said.

The event puts a number of photos, paintings, graphic designs and calligraphic works on display.

The major themes of the works are on humanity, architecture and nature.

The exhibition will wrap up on August 13.
